We had a customer in our shop for many years many years ago, whose wife collected elephants. So every year he had me search my companies & collect elephants for him & he came in every Christmas & bought them all. One Christmas he didn't come in & being mostly a bridal shop, the elephants were tucked away in a back corner of the store. These are some of the collection. Please zoom in on pictures to see the beautiful detailing on these elephants. First is a regal looking pillar candle holder. Made of resin with wonderful detailing. Colors are beige & red & green. It is 5 1/2" by 3 1/4" & 3" opening. Second is quite old ceramic vase - white, blue & metallic gold accents. It has 2 shades of blue flowers in front & one elephant on each side of the vase. It is It is 5 3/4" high & 5 1/4" wide & 1 1/2" deep. Third is wood 7 3/4" high & 4" wide - standing on a round ball on a round 3" base. Third looks like a book end base is wood with one flat side. Elephant is cut out gold -nicely done trunk up with one foot up on a gold ball. Top of base finish is kind of even glaze (varnish ?) It is 6" high by 4" wide & nice & heavy for holding books.
