Antique small shabby jewelry box in lovely aged & worn purple velvet. The little metal closure latch is not working so it doesn't stay close...note photo 9. Old tattered silk lining on inner top & round indention along the bottom so guessing this was a watch or brooch box. 3 x 3 inch. Lid does not sit upright for display...flops backward so needs propped up. Very age worn with grubby spots & stains...delicate & loose lining along the edges...and all over rubbed & worn away velvet.
