The pieces are made of a metal alloy. Most of the kits are unassembled & unpainted. Some may be primed or partially assembled, & some may be painted. By Etsy's standards, items that are at least 20 years old are considered vintage. I source items from local estate sales, thrift shops & garage sales. I am not an expert on the history of any items I source, so I do online research to try to learn more about their history.
