Molly's School Lunch ~ Retired Complete First Version Authentic American Girl / Pleasant Company Metal was in short supply during the war, so Molly didn't get a brand-new lunchbox of her own. Instead, she carried her lunch to school in a paper sack. Molly's food wasn't fancy, but it sure tasted gooda peanut butter & jelly sandwich, a carrot stick, a piece of celery, a ripe pear, & a cookie for desert. Don't forget to tuck in her paper napkin! Molly's School Lunch (later known as Molly's Lunchbox) was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1986, revamped in 2000, & retired in 2013 with Molly's archival. It is associated with the book Molly Learns a Lesson. The set was originally sold with paper lunch bags; the later version contained a metal lunch box.
