Description

an original vintage photo The library in Poughkeepsie NY~Woman outside with two bicycles. The Adriance Memorial library was given to the city of Poughkeepsie by the Adriance family, who ran a successful farm equipment company in Poughkeepsie. John & Mary Adriance's six children donated $100,000 from the fortune he made developing the buckeye plow to build the library, & purchase its books, in their parents' memory. It opened with a huge gala celebration on October 18, 1897 It was renovated in 2007 so it no longer looks like this. 3.75"x2.25" good condition~very very minor dots of cream colored paper on back corner tips. I often show a high contrast close up but actual image is closer to second view photos are securely mailed in sealed glassine envelopes with cardboard. I have been selling vintage photos online for 20 years & have customer service as my highest priority. I do my best to sell clean perfect photos but often vintage photos have scrapbook on back or some dry paste & that often is unavoidable. I am an archivist as well so often will wash & blot dry photos if possible. Often I include a high contrast close up to see the details but image is closer to second image shown. I also do my best to describe every detail & if you have question still, then write. I am happy to respond. thanks for shopping with Clancy's Classics Vintage Photo 1900 Cyanotype Poughkeepsie Ny Adriance Memorial Library 53 O
