Colorado-based Roycroft Master Artisan Julie Leidel fell in love with the Arts & Crafts Movement (1880-1920) & the, vintage-style national parks, railroad & travel posters of the past. Julie mostly works from her own photographs to create artwork that evokes the feeling of yesteryear. Most of Julie's artwork is hand-painted, but this art print falls under her digital artwork series. This artwork is hand drawn, but using a computer instead of a brush. She works from her photos, & Photoshop filters are not applied. Her files have 100s of individual hand-drawn shapes, & dozens of layers as she builds out her artwork. Even the national park style font is hand-drawn vector artwork that she's recreated based on the old posters.
