This was chosen & sent by Ronald & Nancy Reagan. It was the third card based on a painting by Thomas William Jones. The card was printed by Hallmark. It depicts the State Dining Room decorated for the holiday season. We love that the card shows the painting of Abraham Lincoln hanging over the fireplace. We purchased this from the estate of a Greek immigrant who married a Daughter of the American Revolution. Together they were intensely patriotic & amassed quite a collection of Christmas items related to the White House & the United States of America. The matting is a wonderful deep blue that is so "on trend" currently & is framed in an "old gold" wooden frame. This wonderful holiday piece is ready to hang.
