Description
Antique 1875 - 1915 Victorian rare piece of linen pre printed for embroidery by Royal Society #225 Vanity Set consisting of 3 pieces when finished. You don't find many of these around, this is from the era of Society Silk or Silk Art Embroidery. This needle art was done as a way for women to make money in that era. There is a little yellowing from age, to be expected for a piece over a hundred years old, easily removed with soaking in Retro Clean which should be done after they are completed or you will soak away the pre printed design. I have some antique embroidery silk in my shop . This piece comes from my personal collection. Near mint antique condition.
