Chrysanthemum design printed in black onto dark lokta paper. The paper is slightly textured due to the nature of how the paper is made which gives the print a beautiful vintage feel to it. Limited Edition of 20 Unframed Hand carved from grey hessian backed lino. Hand printed onto delicate Dark Natural Nepalese Washi paper. Paper size is A4, 21.0 x 29.7 cm & weight is 30gsm. Print can be framed with a mount or with edges exposed as paper has ruffled edges. Due to the hand printed nature each print is unique & will have slight variation from pictures. Each print is signed & numbered. This print can be easily framed with A4 sized frames or bigger to show the nature of the print. in the photographs the prints aren't signed & numbered because I photographed them before doing so. About the paper: Nepalese Washi paper is handmade form the inner bark or bast fibre of mitsumata with chopped bamboo leaves. Mitsumata is a sustainable & renewable resource. This paper is handmade in Nepal. I try to be as mindful as I can with the environment & wrap my prints with recycled tissue paper backed with card & send them of in a 'do not bend' envelope.
