Excellent condition is this next item here brought to you by the German Democratic Republic, or Erzgebirge (like) spin toy. We have a 1940's era, wood Spin Toy Wood Carousel as the next item for your viewing pleasure. Measuring: 3 1/4" tall x 2 1/8" diameter @ base x 2 3/4" diameter @ carousel base. A red roof with gold ball at the top for spinning the toy manually, very cute. Little men with hats are seated on each of the 4 horses that spin around, their condition is pretty darn terrific considering age & makeup. There are a few chips of paint here & there, nothing drastic. Clearly marked on bottom, "Made in German Democratic Republic", this is stamped on the wood. This item is two pieces, the top with have the horses & such, & the base, please view all pic's & you'll see it apart. This is a wonderful, vintage wood toy.
