I found the original twig, that I had molded to make this ring, at the base of my favorite Oak tree in the yard of my childhood home on Long Island's Northshore. When I was little I used to play on & nearby this tree all the time. I love the little buds on this twig. They remind me of the cycles of life & the promise of renewal. This ring is cast solid in sterling silver & available with a white silver finish or heavily oxidized black. Over time & with wear, the black oxidation will wear off in places to show the detail of the twig. The width & depth of the twig vary between 1.7mm-2.7mm. It weighs approximately 1.3 grams. This is a wrap-around ring & can be gently adjusted to US ring sizes 4.5-7. However, it is best if I adjust it to your closest size before shipping.
