These sleeves are intended ONLY for dogs who need elbow protection as the thicker material does not allow adequate air circulation for wound healing. This listing is SPECIFIC TO BREEDS >150lbs as they all have THREE layers of padding in the elbows! There is a 2 inch nylon strap runs along the shoulders to hold the sleeves in place.
