Maroon/rust-brown/green cotton/wool striped/plaid collage print 1980's vintage long sleeve shirt dress is from KOOS by the Dutch designer KOOS VAN DEN AKKER New York. This designer was well known for his patch work & collage print patterning, as well as using different fabrics in one design. He did it here with this beautiful shirt dress as well; the dress has different prints collaged together. The collar & front placket have a checkered print, while the bodice front & back (except the yoke), have a vertical striped pattern. The sleeves & the back yoke have a plaid pattern, while the waist has a Glenn plaid pattern & the bottom skirt area, thinner vertical striping. The dress has 6 front buttons at the placket. The front & back yoke have a contrast print ribbon trim at the edges. The waist & hip area have this contrast ribbon trim as well. Two-button cuffs. The dress is vintage from the 1980's, & made in the USA. It fits somewhat loose & falls straight down. Colors in the dress; burgundy, rust-brown, maroon, black, mustard, beige, teal-blue, red, forest-green. The fabrics; a light wool & cotton blend with viscose trimming. Dress size was estimated, since size tag is missing, based on the measurements in inches, estimated to be a size 8 to 10. Please read the sizing description carefully for the best fit.
