We have been building goat skin drums since 2009, but we realised that for us it is also much easier for the spirit by not making instruments with that karma. ii) sound: sincerely, for us & for many owners of our vegan drums, the sound you get from a plastic membrane is just as deep & sometimes even deeper, than that from any goat-skin drum.
