Choose one or more Murano bowls from this fun mini collection showing different Murano glass techniques. The purple & clear cased bowl or ashtray shows the bullicante technique which is adding controlled bubbles with a grid. The red & orange geode bowl shows the sommerso layered glass technique where they dip a core in liquid glass to build up separate layers. The black, silver, red & yellow bowl or ashtray shows the adventurine technique which adds flakes of metal (with this bowl, silver) into the hot glass. The purple bullicante bowl looks chipped on the bottom in photos but it isn't - it is just a bit of a miss when they were polishing the pontil. Minor scratchs due to age on these vintage pieces.
