Description
The commemorative coin of the National Bank of Ukraine "Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" of 10 hryvnias denomination is dedicated to a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which belongs to the immediate response forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, & continues the series "Armed Forces of Ukraine". On the obverse of the coin there is the inscription "Україна" (in a semicircle at the top), under the inscription on the left is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, on the right is the armband of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. in the center of the composition on a mirror background is the emblem of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the left of which is the face value of 10 & the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, & to the right of the emblem is the year of minting of the coin - 2021. At the bottom of the semicircle is the inscription "ДЕСАНТНО-ШТУРМОВІ ВІЙСЬКА ЗСУ". Below the year of minting is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint The reverse depicts a symbolic image of a paratrooper soldier in knightly armor (on a mirror background), with half-open wings behind him, which are a symbol of Archangel Michael - the patron saint of the army.
