The Iliad contains at least thirty-five episodes in which different birds offer forecasts about the future. This scientific practice, known as ornithomanteia, has been deemed one of the oldest in the world, offering directions, counsel, omens, & divinations from birds. All our bronze items are cast in Greece using the traditional 'lost wax' method. We are proud to state that none of our items are mass-produced, resulting in inevitable slight variations in patination & coloring, making each piece unique.
