Description
An antique Edwardian long sleeved white cotton blouse with a hand embroidered front & lace trim. The blouse buttons up the front with mother of pearl buttons & a snap at the top neck. The collar is pointed in the front & sailor style in the back, trimmed with needle lace. The front of the blouse is hand embroidered with a graceful cut-work floral design. the sleeves are long & straight with a simple cuff at the wrists. The blouse has three very small, very pale brown brown marks on the back left collar (the largest about 1/8 inch). There is 1/2 inch repair on the left side shoulder area of the collar, 1/4 inch repair at the left front just to the side of the button placket at the top, another 1/4 inch repair on the right side of the button placket just below the third button, there is wear to the fabric at the front just above the hem. 36 inch bust, 16 inches across the shoulder blade area from the armhole seam to seam, 36 inch waist, 16 1/2 inches around the arm holes, 18 inches from the shoulder to the front hem. 5 oz.
