This lovely Illinois Watch, made in 1917, features a classic, bright white, double-sunk, porcelain dial. Slender Arabic numerals & red five-minute numerals, are pointed to by equally slender 'Moon' style blued steel hands. These hands rotate under a clear mineral glass crystal, with the 'ILLINOIS' signature clearly visible. Powering this timepiece is Illinois's quality, gold-trimmed, Grade 306, 19 jewel movement that is adjusted to position & temperature. This fine watch is housed in a Star Watch Case Co. gold-filled case, with a polished back that could be engraved with initials or a dedication, if you wish. This watch is running very well & is ready to carry & enjoy! It would make a fine addition to a collection, or a very special gift. It is in very good overall condition, with some wear on the case, including a shallow dent & some scratches consistent with a watch that has been in service & carried for 105 years! Please look at all pictures as they are most of the description. As stated, this watch is running very well, but due to its age may not keep exact time. It should be within a few seconds a day. It is being sold as-is. However, if you have a problem in the first 2 weeks after receiving your watch, send it back to me & I will have it repaired. So, buy with confidence!
