Spelter Mozart sculpture by Jean Louis Gregoire (1840-1890). This is a sculpture of a young Mozart playing on his violin in brown patinas. Nice detail work on the outer & inner coats & the violin & bow. The statue is spelter with bronze patina on a marble base with name plate. Sculpture was signed by Jean Louis Gregoire & has a France foundry stamp. Statue stands 12 1/2" tall by 5 1/4" wide by 4 1/4" deep.
