Description
A striking 1920s piano shawl in black silk with a cream silk fringe & a screen printed Art Deco design of peonies & birds. This presents really well, & looks great folded. Fagot stitch seam border. There's a couple of white smudges (paint from the printing I would say) There's a L shaped stitched repair off centre. There's an area with some brown strands in the fringe The design is hand printed & slightly stiffer than the rest of the silk Aprox 61 inches square excluding fringe.
