Description
An original print by the artist Rhianna Catt with a limited edition run of 15. Each one hand signed & numbered by herself. She has exhibited her prints is exhibitions across the UK including the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2021 & the RE International Original Print Exhibition 2022. She is incredibly inspired by moths & has recently created a large body of work surrounding them. The symbolism is superficially extremely important to her, including to but no specifically, rebirth, change, transformation & regeneration. Also even though they live in darkness they are attracted to light, which mirrors certain aspects of her life in the past. This print is a hard ground & aquatint etching, with the plate produced on copper & the paper being 100% cotton high quality Somerset soft white paper.
