Up for sale is a wonderful antique bronze patinated figural cast iron expandable book shelf. It's made of thick cast iron, is done with a very elaborately cast reticulated design, & has acquired a lovely patina from age. The hinged bookends feature an owl done in an Art Nouveau design. Each bookend is mounted to two cylindrical rods that are expandable & retractable. It's in nice antique condition & each end measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches tall.
