I was told this large heavy copper pan was used in a restaurant in Nantes (Brittany), I must say I can not disbelieve what they say, being a retired chef/cook I myself have used saucepans this size in professional kitchens, in fact I have used bigger pans as well. This is a good sized hammered copper pan stamped Matfer in a little box on one side, I've had it checked for usability & was told the tin is in good condition ready to be used in a kitchen, there are numerouse small marks & faint scratches & the rim has lots of little dents where previous chefs have tapped there spoons, it rocks very slightly but overall a good heavy duty work horse ready for work. circa 1970 bottle not included Size : Dia : 30cms - 11 3/4inches Depth : 16cms - 6 1/4inches Length : 60cms - 23 1/2inches Weight : 4.27kgs Will hold 20 UK pints.
