The style of this design is known as Damascene or Toledo ware, to my eye they are more representative of Toledo ware (Spanish) jewellery items made especially for the tourist or export market in the 1950/60's. They fit snugly & comfortably on the earlobe. Please be aware there is some loss of Goldtone on the reverse of the earring, but this does not affect everyday wear.
