Vintage Ken Edwards Green El Palomar Trays! American born, Ken Edwards is synonymous with the El Palomar Tonala pottery. His pottery is handmade & hand painted, using the the traditional Tonala high fire pottery technique with burnished glazes. He continues to create pottery to this day & also employs a fairly large staff of artists. Each artist uses an animal or insect as their signatures; often times you see a bird, other times a scorpion, or butterfly, etc. The El Palomar Trays are glazed in green & brown & feature birds, butterflies, & flower. 3 of the trays are signed with Ken Edwards initials, 2 have an insect signature, 1 is unsigned. They are in excellent vintage condition with the exception of tray #6, that now has a nick on the corner as shown. Signed El Palomar KE.
