This is a vintage, hand-carved wood & hand-painted, 5 piece, Santa Claus, nesting toy set. I purchased it in the late 1970s or early 1980s & it was not made in China. I cannot be sure however, if it was made in Russia or Poland which was their usual origin at the time as it is unmarked. It consists of 5 nesting Santa's with the largest measuring approximately 5.75 inches in height to the smallest measuring about 1.75 inches in height. It is a complete set in excellent condition with little wear & no apparent missing paint. Perhaps you are a collector of vintage, nesting-doll toys as I once was?
