National Union 813 vacuum tube gently used - very good condition graphite plate tested RCA designed the 813 tube & it was released in 1938 The 813 is a beam power tube usually used in high power audio amplifiers & modulators. Overall height is approximately 7 inches The RCA Transmitting Tube Manual say that you can get up to 380 watts output from a pair of 813's running AB1. But these are toys for big boys & girls: The plate voltages necessary for that kind of performance are potentially lethal if contact is made. To quote RCA: "The rated plate voltage & grid-No2 are high enough to be dangerous to the user." When I first owned Leeds I plotted the 813's curve when connected as a triode & they are quite lovely.
