This Italian coffee & pastry print is part of the Italian Cafe series of paintings that I created after our last trip to Italy. Every morning & (sometimes afternoon too! ) we found ourselves enjoying a cappuccino & pastry in a cafe in whatever city we were currently staying in. This is a typical Italian breakfast & is an iconic memory for many of us who have spent time in Italy. This print is from a photo I took on our first morning in Rome. Panella cafe is located in the Termini train station & is always packed with people. While we were waiting for our train to Naples we enjoyed the classic Apricot Cornetto (like a croissant), & a Pan au Raisin with our cappuccinos while standing at a pub table in the busy cafe. I can still taste the flaky pastry & creamy coffee! This print would look great in any kitchen or coffee bar area or as a mini gallery wall with the other five cafe prints in this series.
