Chinese bronze archaistic handled incense bowl. This is a bronze that was sculpted in the 12th to 14th century for ceremonial uses. There is ancient script around the bottom ring between the legs. Above that are two panels of pictographs like drawings. The piece has a green tinge from oxidizing in the ground. The incense burner stands 3 5/8" (8.125cm) tall by 7 1/8" (17.8125cm) long by 4 1/4" (10.625cm) wide. For the age of this piece it is in good condition.
