This is a bank/Safe that I made out of Oak & New Zealand pine hardwood & a 64 year old CIRCA 1959 Grecian Combination lock Post Office box door. The door is Chrome plated bronze. Chrome plated items were popular in the 60's. The door has been restored by me. The combination is included. A great conversation piece. Let one of these beautiful antiques add a touch of quiet elegance to your mantel or shelf or make a charismatic gift. The wood case is finished with environmentally friendly clear satin finish & has felt pads on the bottom & is signed. The coin slot on the top has a solid brass plate on top & felt pads on the bottom to protect your furniture. I have been making these banks for many years & it is still fun to see an old postal door restored & made into an heirloom to be passed on to future generations.
