A nice vintage College Queen full fashion stockings retail display box. This colorful box features a photo of a young college girl in a yellow dress on the cover holding her wooden tennis racket. The box originally held 1/4 dozen full fashioned stockings - Taupetone - size 10.5. The box is empty but retains it old wax paper inside. The box measures 10" by 7" by 1" thick. It appears to date to the 1930's to 40's era, This vintage box has nice color in green & yellow tones. The box looks very nice overall with some wear seen in places on the corners & some edges & sides from long term storage & past use. It has a slight twist to it. The back of the box has old writing on it that reads $4.79 for 2 shirts & 1 pair of stockings. Overall a cool early socks or stocking display box for your vintage clothing collection.
