The Giants played against the Oakland Athletics in the 1989 World Series. The series was called the "Bay Bridge Series" since the two teams were separated by the San Francisco Bay & the Bay Bridge. It was also referred to as the "Earthquake Series" because an earthquake struck the area shortly before Game 3 was slated to start. The A's beat the Giants 4 games to 0 but this would prove to be the last World Series win for the Oakland based team. The Giants, on the other hand, would go on to win three World Series titles in a 5 year period during the 2010s. Comments: Tag says large but fits like a modern unisex adult medium.
