Here is a 14" Zotty by Hermann. Both Steiff & Hermann made the same Zotty but this one does not have a button in the ear. I received messages from two collectors saying this bear is a Steiff rather than hermann based on chest color & ribbon. It does have its original blue ribbon which has greatly faded. It is definitely an older bear probably dating anywhere from the 1950's to the 1970's. I can't find out any other way to date him but you can see that his original ribbon is quite old & has faded. The bear itself is excellent. No holes in the paws, etc. His squeaker is no longer working. He is a darling vintage German bear!
