A vintage rusty red lacquer jewelry box / music box (music box no longer works) from the 1960's-1970. Made in Japan. Lovely traditional Japanese images - Mt. Fuji, Pagodas, a sailboat on the water, Bonsai, a Geisha etc. Silver tone hardware. Beautiful Abalone inlay here & there. Two open compartments, three lidded compartments with purple tassels, & an interior mirror. 6 x 8 1/2 inches wide, 4 1/2 inches tall. Clean inside. This box was used & enjoyed but was well taken care of, it shows light age-appropriate wear, remains in good condition. Add it to your vintage decor.
