Crucible for melting & pouring of precious metal - Gold, Silver, Copper & Brass. High-Back crucible has a raised back portion & tapers down along the diameter, making torch melting easier. Crucible is made of fused silica & withstands temperatures up to 2500oF / 1371oC. Crucible is made in Italy, a High Grade Silica is used to make this crucible, The crucibles are made by the Slip Cast Method, they are not pressed making them far superior quality crucible with heavy wall thickness giving extended usage.
