Lovely vintage decorative plate. Entitled "The Doctor" in the "There Was A Time" series from 1979. This is a Sebastian Miniatures Decorative Plate sculpted by Prescott W Baston. Pretty pewter rim. No hook on back; would require a plate hanger. 6" in diameter The back says: "There was a time when a family doctor not only made house calls but sat through the night waiting for a child's fever to break." #1526 of 15,000.
