ENGRAVING This leather bookmark will be laser-engraved with the phrase "all the cool kids are reading" along with one or more stars (depending on the design style selected). Please note that laser-engraving may have a dark brown or black tone to it, depending on the color of leather selected. Note that actual colors may differ slightly due to variations in screens & leather & that the texture of the leather may show slight variegation in the color tone across the surface of the leather. Each piece of leather is unique & may exhibit a different "pattern" or markings. OPTIONAL CORD COLOR You may choose to have the bookmark with or without microfiber cord at the top. If opting for it, the cord color options are as follows - Black - Blue - Brown - Cream - Mint - Purple - Red See our "Microfiber Cord Colors" photo for examples of these. Note that actual colors may differ slightly due to variations in screens. Additionally, the cord is a different material with different stain than the bookmark itself, so Black is the only cord color which perfectly matches the leather color by the same name. (e.g.: A Red leather bookmark with Red cord will not be an identical color match. The only identical match will be a Black/Black combo.) SIZE The bookmark measures 1 1/3" wide by 7" tall. The optional microfiber cord adds approximately 2" to the bookmark's overall length. Bookmark thickness varies slightly. Each piece is between approximately 1/16" & 1/10" thick. in contrast with paper bookmarks, this will prevent book pages & cover from laying completely flat but the elevation of pages/cover will be minimal. LEATHER We use premium full-grain, veg-tanned Italian leather for our bookmarks. The leather thickness is approximately 3-4 ounces & it has a medium firmness. There is a somewhat rustic-looking texture with slight variegation to the color tone across the surface of the leather. Each piece of leather is unique & may exhibit a different "pattern" or markings. As noted above, color may vary slightly due to variations in screens & leather.
