Description
A late 19th century Class B brass balance scale that can be taken apart for storage into a mahogany box. It was made by W. & T. Avery Ltd. of Birmingham, England. When assembled, the scale measures 18 1/8 H x 12 W x 7 D inches (excluding the storage drawer knob). Two weights are included. The box is of dovetail construction. There are two wood pieces that came with it, but it is unknown where they might fit. CONDITION: The center point tip on the beam is slightly bent. W. & T. Avery Ltd.
