We are pleased to offer this set of 4 Sherry, or Whiskey glasses made by Utility Glass Works of Lonaconing Maryland. We use the description Sherry/Whiskey glass because, historically, Utility Glass' Juice glass was in the vicinity of 4-1/4" in height. We firmly, firmly believe these to be a genuine rarity for Utility Glass, little own the rarity of Utility Glass, Cambodia, in an Amethyst! Utility Glass Works, had a very short history. Thus, these date anywhere from 1920-1929. The pattern is Cambodia Ware & the color is Amethyst. Three of the four in lawless condition, with NO chips, nicks, nor repairs. One glass, as seen in the very last photo does have sliver like flea bite on the base. A rich clarity to the glass! Cambodia Ware known for a rounded stacked ribbed bowl with vertical narrow optics. The shouldered post is attached to a flat foot. The glass is very thin & very delicate. & clearly they have been well cherished. Absolutely stunning! It measures 3-1/4" in height, & 2-11/16" in major diameter. For those lovers of Amethyst glass, we have a pretty good supply within our store.
