Blue front door sculpture is a royal blue, Greek gate miniature, a domed, stoneware clay, Greek house gate.It's a ceramic gate art object, a lovely, Greek pottery item.It was made by our shop member, Argiro.This ceramic gate miniature is a completely hand built, ceramic sculpture.It features a gate of a traditonal Greek, island house, with a domed, upper part & two lower parts decorated with many, rectangular designs.The domed part is separated in four, fanning out, triangle parts containing another triange pattern each. The middle part is made of two rectangles, that look like windows, one might say, with wavy lines patterns all over their surfaces.At this level there are two little metal wire pieces, like door handles at the lower parts of the rectanlges.They exists on both sides, since the Greek house gate is made on both sides. Last comes the lower part two, rectangular shapes, decorated with an inner rectangle with a large 'x' pattern.The ceramic gate is glazed in a completely matte, royal blue glaze.This leaves inky black traces in many of the doors, ruts & grooves, making it look so textured & lovely. This blue, Greek ceramic front door is made of solid, stone ware clay.It is a high fire, Greek, ceramic art object.It can be used for decor or as a paper weight, too.It measures a little short of 10.50cm in height x 6cm in length x 2cm in width (4.13'' x 2.36 '' x 0.79'' ).It's got a very textured surface & a distinct, shabby chic look.It's just an adorable ceramic, Greek miniature.
