Vintage Madagascar Woven Grass & Fabric Market Basket. Unusual basket bag from Madagascar, made from woven split grasses, covered in a fine tangerine burlap like woven fabric. It has a satin liner interior which has a draw string closure to cinch enclosing your valuable items. The outside bottom is protected with faux leather corner covers, along with two attached strap handles in the same faux leather. The bag measures approximately 16"inches tall, 12"inches wide & 5" inches deep, the handle lengths are about 18" inches from side to side. This bright tangerine orange textile bag would be great to take to a farmers market to pick up a bouquet of flowers maybe some fruits & vegetables, the beach to hold a towel or park with a picnic lunch, anytime you need a tote to help haul your stuff in style.
