I knew it was something I wanted to see, but I had no idea where to park, where to go, where to set up my equipment, to actually capture it. But this time I got lucky. I honestly stumbled across this fantastic location by chance. It was perfect for me, & the setting sun decided to join in on the perfection. The glowing rock was magnificent. I knew I wanted a long exposure, to smooth out the water - but it was windy. I was afraid the long exposure combined with the moving vegetation would produce blurry blobs of greenery. But instead, I think it highlights the motion. I love that the movement of the trees & bushes in the background give the impression of them being alive.
