Beautiful red & clear calcite from the Tonglushan mine in Daye, Hubei, China. Lovely "pagoda" shape. There are actually scalenohedral calcite crystals inside the pagoda-shaped crystals. Great luster (shine) & nice translucency to the crystals. Some slight chipping present but this is one of the nicer quality pieces from this find. Please note dimensions below.
