I handcraft custom size lodge style wood fireplace mantels & I imitate the look of aged, weathered, distressed & vintage barn wood. It is a floating shelf mantel type. Tell me the exact size you want & I can make it to your specifications. I am imitating the look of an old hand-hewn barn beam. Made from 3/4-inch solid pine wood. This is my most popular size fireplace mantel. The actual size is 7.25" high x 8"" deep. I can custom make a deeper too. The wood is distressed, the edges are grinded to imitate wear & tear, wire wheeled to raise the grain, run over with a chain saw to give the rough sawn look, lightly sanded to show aged wear & finally scorched with a flame to add character, age & bring out the grain. The weight is from 16 to 27 lbS. The fireplace mantel secures to the wall with a mounting bracket & heavy-duty butterfly type drywall toggle anchors (provided). All mounting parts are included. I send it with printed mounting directions, & I also have an online installation video. This item ships for free in the US. Please indicate what custom color you would like.
