Pecan pie Black Tea brings the very essence of a pecan to your palate. From the time you open the package, & the rich smoky nutty goodness of pecans waft into the air, you are swept away with the delicious flavor & aroma of this tea. A high quality black tea is the base for this tea, & the tea itself is very darkly oxidized, providing a strong & robust flavor which has just a hint of matiness to it. The black tea used in this blend is one of my favorite parts of this tea, as it complements the other flavors so perfectly. pecan pie black tea This tea includes small white chocolate chips which make this blend a creamy beverage when brewed. Adding milk & sugar to this tea makes it a special delight, & also makes it an ideal dessert tea. However it can also be enjoyed plain, as it has plenty of natural sweetness to it! Along with the small white chocolate chips, there are also large pieces of whole pecan halves mixed in with the tea leaves & chocolate chips that give this tea a very authentic pecan flavor. The English Tea Store has also added Marigold (Calendula) petals to the blend to add a beautiful aesthetic value to the tea, making it as beautiful to look at as it is to drink.
