CLEARANCE ON THIS CANDLE ~ LAST OF QUANTITY FOREVER Samhain Season 'Summer's End' for the Celtic culture ELEGANT SAMHAIN CANDLE HALLOWEEN THE THINNING VEIL ANCESTOR NIGHT ~ Exclusively from the Ritual Luminaries Collection by Sacred Vessel Healing Arts Pure Eco Soy & beautifully scented with natural essential oils of Sweet Orange, Harvest Apple, Cinnamon & Clove. Contains two gemstone chips (carnelian & tiger's eye) embedded in the wax, & features a lovely charm tied around the lip of the jar as a seasonal touch! I never add too many embellishments to my candles, as stones can get dangerously hot & as a result, the glass can shatter, spilling wax & even fire, everywhere. I use just enough to achieve the energetic kick that is necessary for each candle's intention. Samhain is considered the 3rd of the 3 fall harvests & is celebrated on the 31st of October but continues onward to the time of Yule. We honor our ancestors & at this time they will often make contact with us across the thinning veil, through divination, dreams, rituals, ghost walks, meditation. The days shorten, the nights come earlier, the air takes on a noticeable chill. Hecate, Goddess of the Crossroads, is the deity most often associated with Samhain/All Hallows. Leave offerings for Hecate at a crossroads & receive the blessing of her protection as you make your journey through this time of transformation, release & inner work. This is a very generous 16 oz jar with lid that is reusable should you choose to repurpose it. Soy wax burns clean & is so much better for the environment & for the walls of your abode! IMPORTANT You will find many candles out there whose tops are loaded with crystals & herbs, excessively. I never do this, for two reasons - 1. The crystals can get VERY hot while the candle is burning, causing the glass to shatter, creating a dangerous situation with possible injury or house fire. 2. The herbs can ignite like dry wood in a fire & before you know it, you have an inferno on your hands.
