This handcrafted artwork of the Acadia National Park is made for you using barn wood salvaged from structures in Illinois. This beautifully framed antique Acadia National Park map is a newly printed copy of an 1931 map. Acadia National Park was established in 1916 under a different name, & was named "Acadia" in 1929. We resaw & mill the wood to make unique one-of-a-kind frames. They are then hand sanded & finished with the highest quality wax that is buffed to a satin finish. Double strength glass is installed along with the print. We then add a vinyl lettering caption to the glass to give it a shadow box effect. Each frame is unique with antique patina & imperfections making it unlike other framed art. Truly a vintage inspired piece that will add interest to any room you add it too.
