I love these cubes because of the old look & the bold black letters. What makes them interesting is the tiny dots in the background when you look at them close up. I'm not sure if it is the varnish bubbling or just part of the finish. Pretty cool. They look like tiny polka dots in the background. They are really smooth & from an old set so I'm guessing they are wood. They are great for jewelry making, assemblage, collage, etc. The are 13 cubes here.
