Description
An impressive bright blue vase handmade by Japanese potter Keiichi Tanaka at his studio in Kawagoe, a city located just outside Tokyo. This tall vase is perfect for a small plant or piece of foliage, it also has a small loop handle which makes it easy to pick up & could alternatively be used as a pitcher. He achieves this stunning blue surface colour by applying a glaze & firing at 1200oC, then applying other pigments & firing again at a much lower temperature. This is certainly a quirky piece that is sure to turn a few heads. Please note: These are made by hand so each one may differ slightly from the photo, they all have their own character.
